Lisbon school group bus
Study trips run on fixed times and head counts. The same coach and driver stay with the group all day, so bags and coats can stay on board between visits.

Before you book
- ✓ A seat for every student and teacher, plus one spare for the guide.
- ✓ Every seat has a seat belt — ask the group to wear them.
- ✓ Plan a toilet stop every two hours on coaches without a WC.
- ✓ Share the visit times so parking bays can be booked near each site.
- • Coaches are restricted in Alfama and the historic centre; drop-offs use designated coach points.
- • Tourist coaches are banned around Lisbon Cathedral and São Jorge Castle and in parts of the historic centre.
- • Most motorways are tolled, at toll plazas or electronically (Via Verde); two-axle coaches pay the Class 2 rate, three-axle coaches Class 3.
